'Back in love with football again... march to the Arch is on' - how Portsmouth fans reacted to win over Ipswich
and live on Freeview channel 276
The new man in charge at Fratton Park watched on as his new troops came from behind to claim a 2-1 victory over Paul Cook’s Ipswich.
It was the first time in nearly two years Pompey had achieved that, with the Easter Monday win against Coventry back in 2019 the last time a come-from-behind-victory was achieved.

Hide AdMarcus Harness was the man to secure the winner, with the winger popping up on 72 minutes with the all-important second goal.
Earlier, James Norwood handed the visitors a 32-minute lead.
Pompey hit back through Tom Naylor on 41 minutes, before Harness struck with 18 minutes remaining to secure Cowley a dream start in the job and the Blues a first win in six league games.
Here’s what fans on Twitter had to say about the win.
@beiderbecks: I’m back in love with football.
@jimbopowers91: That was incredible.
Watching us press high up the pitch a win the ball back even in 2nd half stoppage time got me off my seat.

Hide Ad@NicolaUpfield: Better today. Closed down the opposition, pressed higher up the pitch, chased down lost balls.
Basically just looked like we actually wanted it for the first time in ages!
@JoshSummers96: Amazing result after only 24 hours in charge, massive credit to the Cowley’s and the players #Pompey
@JGM_PFC: That was a lot more than "new manager bounce". What a result. What a performance Pompey/.

Hide Ad@richraymond84: That was a MUCH better game to watch, the press, pushing up and closing the game out in their half rather than 11 in our own half.
If they can make that impact in 24hrs I'm looking forward to see what they can do with a week til the next game.
@Shovell96: April 2019 the last time we’ve come from behind to win, the whole change of style so easy and pleasing to watch.
Whatever happens in the next 11 or so games Cowleys deserves a proper shot at transforming this club, on that evidence they can do it. #Pompey
