The Blues’ game against Charlton was called off one hour before kick-off because of a waterlogged pitch.

But before the team coach had begun it’s journey back to Fratton Park, a new date was quickly arranged – Tuesday night (7pm).

Here’s how some of the Pompey supporters reacted on Twitter to another day of Blues drama...

@gregb100: Barking mad decision to leave it so late. A proper dogs dinner. Beastly weather.

@dazza_nics: Apart from the Hull result (today), all the others have gone our way to be honest.. we should have our games called off more often.

@adarkelimited: Can honestly say I never felt unsafe on a wet boggy pitch. Frozen pitch yes.

First game called off at The Valley since 2014 and Tues could well be the 2nd one.

@med584: It’s going to rain for next few days. How are they going to guarantee it will be ok for Tuesday?

@BenTarling5: Sad times. Another trip on a Tuesday night through no fault of our own.

@furniss_alex: Sort it out, this league and it’s pitches. It’s been covered for a week and still in shambles. “Frozen” at Accrington, something fishy going on here @EFL and @Pompey.

@BlueArmyAlex: These fixtures are gonna add up in the long run, if we lose on Tuesday we’ll implode harder than 18/19.

@FcHolybourne: Gives Charlton 3 more days to get some players back from injury.
