That makes predicting the Blues line-up for tonight’s game against Fleetwood rather easy, with Cam Pring likely to be the only change to the team that beat Ipswich so comfortably on Saturday.
He’s expected to replace the injured Lee Brown at left-back, with manager Kenny Jackett unlikely to change a winning team for such a big game.
However, with a bench still packed full with quality, there’s no room for anyone taking their starting place for granted.
The likes of Rasmus Nicolaisen, Michael Jacobs, Jordy Hiwula and Ellis Harrison will all be busting to be involved.
But what better way to keep them on the bench than to put in another top performance against a promotion rival.
He’s the team we think Jackett will turn to to keep that promotion push going.
1. Goalkeeper - Craig MacGillivray
The keeper had very little to do in the victory at Ipswich, with his goal remaining intact for the second-successive game. That's now seven this season for MacGillivray who looks as assured as ever. Photo: PinPeP
2. Right-back - Callum Johnson
Improved significantly in the second half against Peterborough after his crossing let him down in the opening 45 minutes. Will be aiming for a complete 90-minute performance and has Haji Mnoga pushing him. Photo: Joe Pepler
3. Centre-back - Jack Whatmough
Showed his class once again at Ipswich as he helped keep the visitors quiet. To quote twitter - announce new contract now! Photo: .
4. Centre-back - Sean Raggett
Has played a key role in two successive clean sheets - and there's no hint of the centre-back wanting to give Rasmus Nicolaisen his starting place at the back. Photo: Joe Pepler
