Ellis Harrison to drop out? Portsmouth's likely line-up and bench to face Blackpool

Pompey travel to Blackpool tonight as they prepare for their first fixture of a hectic December.

The Blues have eighth fixtures throughout the month, facing League One promotion rivals including Peterborough, Ipswich, Fleetwood and Hull.

But Kenny Jackett’s full focus will be returning to the south coast with three points from Bloomfield Road.

The Pompey boss made five changes for Saturday’s 6-1 thrashing of King’s Lynn Town in the FA Cup.

He gave players such as Rasmus Nicolaisen, Cam Pring and Ben Close run-outs to rest some key players.

But with the Blues’ fringe men impressive in the routing, they’ll be hoping they’ve staked a claim to start against the Seasiders (7pm kick-off).

Jackett has to decide what, in his mind, is his best starting line-up to defeat Neil Critchley’s men.
