Prior to his Wigan departure, Roberts made 66 appearances for the Latics following his Fratton Park exit in 2017.

A popular figure at Pompey and a key member of the 2016-17 title-winning side, the attacking midfielder joined former boss Paul Cook at the DW Stadium after being told he had no PO4 future by Kenny Jackett.
