Have your say

Pompey fan Jonathan Hooper, aged 18 from Southbourne, gives his verdict after the win at Rochdale in the FA Cup...

Pompey left that late

I’d say we probably edged things in the first half with Ronan Curtis hitting the crossbar.

We did have some chances in the first 45 minutes but Rochdale were the better side second half, you can’t deny that.

I thought we’d probably lose that, if I’m honest.

I would ideally like to see us put teams to bed.

First-half we could have been one or two goals ahead, then it would have been a whole different ball game.

Even though we weren’t at our best, we still found a way to win.

Hopefully Pompey can get a big, big tie now.

It is good to be in the hat for the next round.

What did you make of Kenny Jackett's changes?

Kenny Jackett deserves credit for bringing on both Brett Pitman and Andre Green.

They both made a difference when they came on.

Green won the free-kick then scored from it, he basically got us in to the third round.

I’d give my man of the match to Craig MacGillivray.

But Green does deserve a mention.

MacGillivray just edged it for me.

Why did you give Ronan Curtis such a low rating?

I’d say a four was maybe a tad harsh.

But other than his shot against the crossbar, he contributed very little.

At times Curtis looked a little arrogant when he was on the ball.

The ball just wasn’t falling for him in the right areas.

There’s no doubt that he’ll come back from what was a below par perfromance by his standards.

Who would you like to see Pompey draw in round three?

I’d like to see us get Southampton in the third round.

The form they are in at the minute is poor and it would be great to beat them.

But any tie against a Premier League club would be ideal.

Hopefully it will be at Fratton Park, with the cameras on, what more can you ask for?

Pompey can compete against any team on their day.

I would like to see us get a Premier League side, that would do us nicely.
