This is an important game – and we have the momentum and quality to earn us a win.

We were dead and buried on Tuesday night, but demonstrated resilience in the squad and hunger required to keep this run going.

Any of this top eight can earn automatic promotion, which includes Fleetwood, so getting a positive result there could be crucial.

Looking at our team, Ben Close and Tom Naylor can’t play together, in fact we looked better when Cameron McGeehan dropped back in the second half against Exeter, it opened it up.

I think McGeehan is quite good, if we went up I would sign both him and Steve Seddon, without a doubt.

He gives us something different, something we have missed, that creativity in midfield which has been absent during the first half of this season.

You can see McGeehan improving all the time and the quality of the man, while he has family ties in Portchester.

I would bring Gareth Evans back in as the number 10, leaving John Marquis on the bench.

Evans has been a great servant for the club, even if you played him 60 minutes he would give his all, and I prefer him there than Marquis.

Ellis Harrison, if fit, is my choice to be the striker, he is more physical than Marquis and if we are struggling you can always make the substitution and match them, like we did against Shrewsbury.

Harrison works his socks off and, when he came on against Sunderland recently, set his stall out in the opening two minutes. Whereas Marquis is a poacher.

I would like to see those two develop, though. Perhaps we’ll see it in the future, maybe if we reached the Championship.

Pompey (4-2-3-1): Bass, McCrorie, Burgess, Raggett, Seddon, Naylor, McGeehan, Harness, Evans, Curtis, Harrison.
