PORTSMOUTH’s play-off run came to an end as they lost to Oxford United in a penalty shoot-out at the Kassam Stadium.

The Blues and The Us could not be separated over two legs and extra time.

However Oxford triumphed 5-4 on penalties on Monday evening.

The defeat means that Pompey are facing another season in League One.
