Kenny Jackett names the same match-day 18 on duty against Colchester in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night.

However, there is one change to the starting XI which won that match 2-0, with loanee Cameron Pring making way for Lee Brown.

That means Callum Johnson will be granted his league debut for the Blues following his arrival from Accrington earlier in the week.

Paul Downing again misses out of the squad, with Whatmough preferred in the team and James Bolton offering central-defensive cover from the bench.

Pompey: MacGillivray, Johnson, Whatmough, Raggett, Brown, Naylor, Morris, Harness, Evans, Curtis, Marquis.

Subs: Turnbull, Close, Pring, Bolton, Cannon, Williams, Harrison.
