Kenny Jackett believes brilliant Portsmouth could've ran out Sunderland winners by bigger margin
Kenny Jackett lauded his flying side and felt the margin of victory over promotion rivals Sunderland could’ve been greater.
That sees the Blues back into the play-offs and three points of the automatic promotion slots with two games in hand.
Jackett felt he side could have ran out winners by a wider margin.
He said: ‘The first half was 50-50 and lots of chances right from the start at both ends.
‘We’ve scored a good goal from a terrific goal in from Ronan Curtis.
‘In the second half I thought we were on top from start to finish through the half.
‘I’ve got respect for Sunderland as a club and Phil Parkinson is doing a fantastic job there.
‘But we didn’t let them back into the game. We got a goal, could’ve had more and it was deserved win.’
