Out go Jack Whatmough (suspended), Lee Brown, Ronan Curtis and Marcus Harness.

There is no place in the squad for Rasmus Nicolaisen, who was expected to partner Sean Raggett in the centre of defence in Whatmough’s absence.

Recent recruit Lewis Ward is named on a bench which includes fellow new-boys George Byers and Harvey White.

Meanwhile, Jordy Hiwula again fails to be included among the substitutes – for a third match running.

Pompey: MacGillivray, Johnson, Bolton, Raggett, Daniels, Williams, Naylor, Cannon, Jacobs, Harrison, Marquis.

Subs: Ward, Harness, Curtis, Byers, White, Brown, Mnoga.
