Injured Portsmouth duo Brett Pitman and Lee Brown doubts for Sunderland play-off game at Fratton Park
Injured Portsmouth duo Brett Pitman and Lee Brown are doubts for Pompey’s play-off semi-final second-leg game against Sunderland.
The duo missed the first leg at the Stadium of Light on Saturday – a game which the Blues lost 1-0.
Pitman was withdrawn because of a hamstring injury. Brown was absent because of an Achilles problem.
The Blues were hopeful both would be available for Thursday night’s game.
But that will now depend on the two passing fitness tests, when they return to full training tomorrow.
Manager Kenny Jackett said: 'They were outside running but not in full training today.
'And full training for them will be tomorrow, which will obviously then be their fitness test.
'If they complete and do the session, they'll be available to play.
'If not, then obviously it will mean opportunities for other people.'
