West Bromwich Albion could make a move for Sunderland manager Jack Ross, according to reports.

The Baggies are still seeking a replacement for Darren Moore, who was sacked last month with the club lying 4th in the Championship.

And The Sun understands, quoted by HITC Sport, that Ross could be considered for the Albion role and the Scotland job, if the vacancy comes up.

Despite the report, only BetVictor seem to be taking bets on Ross becoming the next West Brom boss, offering long odds of 33/1.

Pompey striker Oli Hawkins has tipped teammate Jamal Lowe to become a Premier League star.

Lowe laid on two assists before rounding off the scoring - taking his tally to 16 this term - as Pompey moved within two points of 2nd in their 4-1 win over Rochdale.

‘He can go on as high as he possibly can,’ said Hawkins. ‘This is a step for him in the right direction and this season he is showing what he can do.

Scholes spoke about apparent interference from those above that drove him to resign. He said: ‘Once I get told “don't play him”, that's when it's time to go.’
