Despite being two goals down at half-time, the Blues thought they’d won it in stoppage-time when John Marquis swept home his second goal of the game.

However, Marquis would be at the centre of more late drama when he helplessly steered into his own net to give Accy an equaliser moments later.

It represents a blow to Pompey’s League One play-off hopes with two matches remaining.

Another season in league one, more failure!

@JAudley89

Hope everyone just stares at Cannon on the way back... what the hell was he doing with that tackle that gave the free kick away ffs!

@Hayden_PFC

Unlucky lads, hard one to take. We go again Saturday. Performance to be proud of that, Ronan in particular worked his socks off

@NeilT8181

Lucky to get a point there

@richraymond84

For everyone losing their heads just remember Sunderland were 2-0 up against Accrington at the weekend and got the same result. Yes there needs to be changes in the squad and they'll come but Accrington aren't exactly a walkover.

@jakemeyers2015

What can you really say about that. Rollercoaster of emotions over 90mins.

Truly end to end stuff, does naff all for #Pompey's playoff hopes, but a pretty entertaining game by all accounts

@tashamash

This club gives you hope and breaks it like no other. Damn.

@Slaaaade

Marquis giveth and Marquis taketh away

@WELLS35

Honestly it beggars belief that there’s not enough intelligence on the pitch to see out time when you’ve clawed yourself back into a game & then gone in front! There was no need to give away that free kick. The amount of defensive errors, sending offs & stupid mistakes

@MarkRoser9

Only Pompey could comeback like that and then throw it away . Feel.for marquis tbh scored 2 tonight then ball hits him yard out and the OG makes it 3-3 . Utterly gutting but at HT I would of took a point but then Crewe equalising in 96th Min was huge as means we still in the mix
