The head coach’s perfect record since taking the hot seat continued with a 2-1 win over Rochdale

Ryan Williams and Ronan Curtis were on target for the Blues in the first half before Jake Beesley bagged a stoppage-time consolation for the Dale.

However, three points were retained and Pompey stay fifth in League One.

Phew! Not a fan of these nervy endings! Another good first half performance and a well deserved 3 points. Need to sustain the performance for longer periods but 3 wins in a row - couldn’t ask for anything more!
