The Blues boss has made two changes to the side which drew 0-0 at Rochdale last Sunday, with Cameron Pring replacing Lee Brown at left-back and Michael Jacobs starting in the No10 position instead of Andy Cannon.

New-boy Rasmus Nicoliasen is on the bench, while John Marquis retains his place leading the line despite him missing a hat-trick of golden opportunities against Rochdale last time out.

Here’s how fans on social media have reacted to the team news.

@84Knight: Marquis still can’t play up front on his own. He’s not suddenly learnt how to do it in the last week.

@schinnery_: omg Marquis is starting, Jackett has shown faith in a player I REPEAT JACKETT HAS DOWN FAITH IN A PLAYER.

@Willfrattonpark: Rasmus only just signed so perhaps understandable he doesn’t start but how Morris can start is baffling. All he does is fill the 11 names on the team sheet.

@spenno13: I would like to the stats for Morris this season, can hardly remember his name mentioned at all during any of the commentaries I have listened to #PUP.

@ChrisOverthrow: Happy with that.

I think as Jurgen said with Jota, it's good for the new signing to spend time watching how the team play.

Not comparing the two managers of course but that sounds like a solid plan to me. Perhaps 20 or 30 mins at end for Rasmus.

@LewPeet: Strange to drop Brown after 2 clean sheets but keep in Morris who hasn’t contributed anything.

@DanJPurnell: How is Bryn Morris getting minutes today?? Would have been the first change I’d have made. Good to see Jacobs get a start.

@jakemeyers2015: Cannon in for Morris, but apart from that right choice.

@sam_willmott3: Morris out Close in
