The Norwich loanee is still unsure what awaits him beyond June 30 if the season does recommence.

Raggett's deal at Carrow Road is due to expire at the end of next month, which would leave him without a parent club to loan him.

All clubs have until June 23 to offer players a new contract, offer extensions that would expire at midnight on the final day of the campaign, or release players – although they won't be eligible to play for a new club until the 2020-21 season starts.

It’s unclear whether the Premier League have a similar plan in place, however

But given the unprecedented situation amid the coronavirus crisis, Raggett accepts it’s a difficult situation for everyone involved.

The centre-back said: 'I'm out of contract at Norwich at the end of June and nobody knows what they're going to do, if players can extend their contract for a short amount of time or sign a completely new deal.

'I don't really know and we're a bit in the dark about that as well.

'I think the clubs themselves aren't too sure what's going on so it's hard for them to give us any information when they probably don't know themselves.

'It's a unique situation, it's never really happened before.’

Raggett has scored two goals in 36 appearances for Pompey during his loan spell from the Canaries.
