Paul Cook believes Pompey showcased their promotion potential against Notts County.
But the Blues boss warned they quickly have to forget their 4-0 romp at Fratton Park today to build momentum in their bid to get out of League Two.
The Fratton faithful were left smiling with a dominant display from their side against the Magpies.
Cook felt it was an example of how he likes to play – but now focus must immediately turn to AFC Wimbledon on Monday.
He said: ‘When we play well we can put teams under pressure.
‘Today we put Notts County under a lot of pressure and got the goals you get from that type of pressure.
‘I believe we have the players in this squad to win games.
‘Football is up and down and today we had a good day. But it’s about putting that to bed now and preparing for Wimbledon.’
