Plymouth have a goalkeeping crisis ahead of their trip to Pompey on Saturday.

Emergency loanee Remi Matthews is the only fit senior keeper with Luke McCormick, Kyle Letheren and Robbert te Loeke out.

Meanwhile, academy shot-stopper Michael Cooper has a dislocated finger.

It meant 16-year-old Max Childs was on the bench for the Pilgrims in their win against Northampton on Tuesday.

Defender Ryan Edwards is suspended and former Blues striker Ryan Taylor is out with a broken ankle.

Brett Pitman could return for Plymouth’s visit to Fratton Park.
The Pompey captain missed the 2-1 defeat at Peterborough with a hamstring injury on Tuesday.

Pitman believes he’ll be fit to face the Pilgrims – although boss Kenny Jackett feels the Blues’ top goalscorer is a doubt.

Christian Burgess is suspended after picking up his fifth caution of the season at the Posh.

Meanwhile, Milan Lalkovic (Achilles), Jack Whatmough and Damien McCrory (both knee) remain absent.
