Pompey welcome Charlton Athletic to Fratton Park in a bid for a fourth successive league victory.

The Blues sit fifth in the table after impressive victories over Gillingham, Sunderland and Northampton.

Certainly it appears Kenny Jackett’s side have turned a corner after a stuttering start, scoring nine goals and conceding just once in the past 270 minutes.

But they’ll be given a stern examination by the Addicks, who are looking for a fifth straight win.

After their relegation from the Championship and takeover battle, Lee Bowyer’s side now appear settled and aim for an immediate return to the second tier.
