Portsmouth announce Exeter semi-final date in bid for Wembley return

Pompey have announced the date of their Leasing.com Trophy semi-final with Exeter.

The Blues’ bid for a Wembley return is scheduled for Tuesday, February 18 (7.45pm), at Fratton Park.

Exeter, who are placed second in League Two, had previously hosted all three of their matches at the knock-out stages.

Now they’ll venture to the south-coast for the one-off fixture which will decide who will reach Wembley on Sunday, April 5.

For next month’s fixture there will be unreserved seating in the Fratton end and North stand.

While the match is to be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Tickets go on sale from 9am on Tuesday (January 28), initially for season-ticket holders and members, before reaching general sale on Wednesday (January 29).
