Lee Brown (hamstring) and Michael Jacobs (knee) are definitely out, while Ronan Curtis is away on Republic of Ireland international duty.

Jackett is hoping to see some of his injury worries in training over the weekend, but feels there’s cover if they don’t make it.

He said: ‘We’re waiting on a few. Sean Raggett and Tom Naylor have knocks and we expect them to train on Sunday.

‘Neither are ruled out, though, and we’ll see how our weekend goes.

‘Out of the other injuries, Jack Whatmough and Andy Cannon are progressing well, so over Saturday and Sunday’s training we’ll assess them as well.

‘We’re waiting on four players who all have a chance for Monday, but haven’t been confirmed yet.

‘The good thing is for all of them, though, is they are not far away.

‘From my point of view they are all minor things and on the way back.

‘We have depth at the back there with Haji Mnoga. James Bolton and Paul Downing both played well, very well in fact on Tuesday night.

‘I’d be happy to use any of them there.’

Jackett added that Callum Johnson has recovered from a dead leg picked up against Ipswich last weekend, while there’s hope of Brown being back for Crewe’s visit next weekend.

He added: ‘Lee Brown’s coming on well. He won’t make Monday, but possibly next Saturday.

‘Callum Johnson’s fine, 100 per cent fit and no problems.

‘Michael Jacobs is going well but has the best part of a month until he comes back. He’s working hard in the gym, though.’
