However, against the backdrop of a major academy player overhaul, the game's been scrapped.

Harry Kavanagh, Harvey Rew, Charlie Bell and Taylor Seymour were all in line to feature but have been informed they're being released at the end of the season.

Northern Ireland trio Eoin Teggart, Gerard Storey and Harry Anderson are also departing, although the former two are currently in their homeland on loan at Cliftonville and Carrick respectively.

In addition, there's uncertainty over Alfie Stanley's future but he was going to be travelling with the first team for the League One trip to Swindon regardless.

Haji Mnoga and Paul Downing have featured in the past two reserve matches - wins over Luton and Millwall.

However, given Danny Cowley's side's injury situation, coupled with Jack Whatmough's four-game suspension after his red card at MK Dons on Saturday, both will also be required to be involved in some capacity at the County Ground.

Lewis Ward also was handed an outing against Millwall but will be on the bench deputising for Craig MacGillivray against the Robins.
