Portsmouth to field full squad against Norwich in Essex friendly

Kenny Jackett’s men are facing Norwich under-23s at the Five Lakes Resort in Maldon, Essex, at 10.30am.

The Blues have spent the week at the venue which also served as pre-season in 2013 and 2014.

Jackett has pencilled in 22 players to feature against the Championship youngsters, with two different teams lining up in each half.

Missing are Ellis Harrison, Reeco Hackett-Fairchild and Ben Close, who have knocks and sit out the fixture.

There are no triallists, while Pompey’s second-half team is made up primarily of Academy players.

First half: Bass, Bolton, Downing, Raggett, Brown, Naylor, Morris, Harness, Williams, Curtis, Marquis.

Second: McGillivray, Kavanagh, Mnoga, Whatmough, Rew, Storey, Cannon, Brook, Evans, Teggart, Stanley.
