Andre Green appears be in hospital after missing Pompey's victory at Peterborough on Saturday.
The Aston Villa loanee was absent for the trip to London Road due to a knee injury he picked up in training last week.
Kenny Jackett admitted he was unsure how long the winger would be out for prior to his side’s win over the Posh.
And Green has apparently been pictured in a hospital bed today following his setback.
His partner posted a photo on her Instagram story showing the 20-year-old’s left knee strapped up.
It’s unknown if Green underwent surgery or how long he will be sidelined for.
The 20-year-old moved to Fratton Park on a season-long loan from Villa last month.
Green made his debut in Pompey's 4-0 Checkatrade Trophy victory over Gillingham, winning the penalty which lead to Brett Pitman’s goal.
The England under-20 international was then handed his League One bow in the 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury four days later but was substituted at half-time.
