Michael Jacobs has become the Blues’ fourth recruit of the summer transfer window.

The former Wigan forward put pen to paper on a two-year deal, with the club option for an additional 12 months.

There are high hopes Jacobs will be the answer to Pompey’s problem No10 position, with the versatile ex-Derby man earmarked to feature in the role.

Jacobs could make his debut when Kenny Jackett’s side travel to Brighton in the Carabao Cup second round on Thursday.
