The key centre-back duo will both be available for next week's semi-final with Oxford United after having their Blues deals extended.

There was doubt whether Union Saint-Gilloise would allow Burgess to be involved, with the fans’ favourite already agreeing a summer move to the Belgian side.

Raggett, meanwhile, is still with parent club Norwich, who have a 12-month option on retaining him.

Moreover, Lee Brown, Brett Pitman, Brandon Haunstrup, Oli Hawkins, Adam May and Matt Casey also penned short-term deals to be available in the play-offs.

Now Pompey's jigsaw is complete, they can put their full focus into facing Oxford.

The first leg between the two sides is now just nine days away as Kenny Jackett’s men aim to reach the Championship for the first time since 2012.
