5. Posh owner's Toney claim
Peterborough United chief Darragh MacAnthony reckons Leeds United should be in for Ivan Toney. The Posh owner was quizzed on whether the Premier League side were interested in the stiker. He confirmed they weren’t but said they “should be”. (Twitter)

6. Matthews nears Black Cats move
Remi Matthews is nearing a move to Sunderland. The goalkeeper is a free agent after departing Bolton Wanderers with Phil Parkinson on the hunt for a replacement for Jon McLaughlin who joined Rangers earlier this summer. (Alan Nixon)

7. Pompey to target loan market
Portsmouth boss Kenny Jackett is likely to operate in the loan market with regards to incoming transfers. Pompey have added two so far this summer but chief Mark Catlin revealed it is more beneficial to operate in the loan pool due to the salary cap. (Various)

8. Storey's latest Sunderland update
William Storey provided a key update on his proposed bid to takeover Sunderland. The Rich Energy CEO said he expects “confirmation on moving North soon” with the belief owners should live locally as he shared a picture of a Riverside Sunderland project on social media. (Twitter)
