Pompey team news:

Ellis Harrison is battling to be back in the equation for this Saturday’s visit of Charlton.

The Pompey striker is now in full training after picking a hamstring injury against Doncaster.

Kenny Jackett has to decide if this weekend is the right time to bring Harrison back, or look to Tuesday’s Papa John’s Trophy game with West Ham under-21s.

Pompey know they will be without Michael Jacobs, with the scan results on the attacking talent’s knee pointing towards a six-week stay on the sidelines.

The likelihood is the starting XI will remain unchanged from Tuesday’s 4-0 win over Northampton.

Charlton team news:

Charlton will be without a trio of regular first-teamers for the trip to Fratton Park.

Boss Lee Bowyer was hoping it was a cramp issue for the man who’s attracted interest from Celtic, but a scan has revealed a hamstring issue.
