Now details of another run-out for the Blues has been announced, with Southern League premier division south side Gosport this time providing the opposition.
Pompey, who today take on Stevenage (3pm) behind closed doors at the Lamex Stadium in the first round of the Carabao Cup, will be managed by Mark Kelly on Tuesday night.
He’s expected to bring with him another youthful side, but several senior players could also travel as the Blues look to get them some much-needed game time.

Hide AdFans are advised to get to Privett Park early and should bring with them a pre-complete track and trace form which can be downloaded from the Gosport Borough website.
Admission is £5, with supporters asked to bring the correct money with them.
There will be no concessions to minimise cash handling.
Meanwhile, under-15s accompanied by an adult will be admitted free of charge.
