The former Coventry front man has signed for Pompey on a short-term deal until January and will be in the squad for Saturday’s trip to Sunderland.

Highly-rated Stanley has made two first-team squads this season, having also travelled to Stevenage for the Blues’ Carabao Cup game at the end of August.

He’s been on loan at Bognor since mid-September, making seven appearances for the Isthmian League premier division side.

The Rocks’ next game is at home to Margate on Saturday.
