LIVE: Lincoln v Pompey
Key Events
- Pompey return to action after midweek victory against Burton.
- Blues make two changes with Macey and Tunnicliffe returning.
- Lincoln undefeated at Sincil Bank this season.
I have to say Pompey might’ve had a case for a penalty but the referee obviously didn’t feel the same way.
Dale screaming for a penalty. Mousinho is straight in to the fourth official’s ear after the claims for a spot kick are waved away by Ross Joyce.
Morrell makes an oustanding run from midfield and finds Rafferty in space on the right. However, he put a bit too much on his cross and Hackett wasn’t quite able to meet it.
Not sure what’s just gone on here but there’s been an air-raid siren go off as Lincoln take a corner. Might have missed the memo on this one.
Good play again by Pompey, who win the first corner of the afternoon. Raggett rises highest from Lane’s set-piece but his header is just wide of the mark.
Great pace to this game. Dale’s cross is initially cleared before the ball falls kindly to Tunnicliffe but his volley is just wide of the mark. The midfielder will feel he should’ve done better there.
Diamond again causing all sorts of problems down Pompey’s left. The winger drills his shot just past Macey’s far post. The Blues lucky to get away with another.
Diamond fizzes in a low cross, Raggett is able to clear with Macey coming to collect the second ball.
Morrell goes in to the book early on as he lunges in on Erhahon - who has been previously linked with Pompey.
Almost an early opener for the hosts as Diamond is played through by Roughan. The forward was one-on-one with Macey but placed his effort wide.
