Good evening from Home Park as we bring you live commentary of Plymouth v Pompey.

John Mousinho’s side will be looking to build on a strong second-half performance against Hull, as they travel to Devon to face Wayne Rooney’s side.

The Blues can leapfrog the Pilgrims and move off the bottom of the Championship table with victory, as they look to inject impetus into their campaign.

Opens up for Potts after a driving run but the midfielder drags his shot past the far post.

Lang left limping and holding his hip after jostling for the ball.

Now it’s Gyabi who’s a whisker away with a chance as he fires wide when well place as the ball is helped on in the box.

Now it’s Ritchie who gets a good connection on his header from Murphy’s cross but Grimshaw gathers.

Murphy frees Potts and it’s a dangerous cross from the left towards Yengi but the striker again fails to connect as he goes to ground, with replays showing an arm across the striker from Pleguezuelo. Have to take one of these chances.

Now Gyasi in the book after going in late on Potts and and there’s more unrest from the home crowd.

Dangerous cross from Lang on the right but Murphy misses the ball at the back post as it goes beyond Sorinola. Not a simple connection, but it’s a decent opening.

Gray late on Ogilvie and it’s a booking. The striker is angry the ref didn’t spot a pull from McIntyre a second before.

Whittaker from long range but it’s comfortable for Schmid.

Murphy causing problems for Sorinola as the winger cuts in but his shot is blocked.

Potts’ corner is cleared but Ogilvie thumps one from long range - hits Yengi, however.

Murphy turns over Sorinola and wins a corner from his cross as the bright start continues

Potts to Williams with Szucs put his dangerous cross clear - then from a short corner Murphy crosses and Grimshaw holds Ogilvie’s header.

Al Hajj puts a free header wide and the flag is up for offside, with replays showing the call to be incorrect.
