Being a Pompey fan is a unique experience - as we all know!
And following the Blues on a matchday brings a string of events very particular to following our club.
While there are certain things football fans of all persuasions will have in common, Pompey’s identity means there are various distinctions we all know about.
We’ve wrapped up some of those well-known rituals and rites of passages the Fratton faithful go through - with some new additions in recent weeks...

5. Stagger from the brewery
A bit of hidden gem, but there's a brewery within a Marlon Pack throw of Fratton Park on Rodney Road. Staggeringly Good Brewery and its taproom lives up to the reviews, too, with its impressive range of craft beers. | The News

6. The Goldsmith slalom
You've made your way to Fratton on a packed train, shuffled up the platform and along the railway bridge. Now it's time for the Goldsmith Avenue slalom! Dodge in and out of fellow fans, apologise for walking into heels and spill out on to the road to face oncoming traffic - all standard stuff! | The News

7. Southsea carnage!
Skipper Marlon Pack decreed Albert Road was the destination for his players after the title win - and it was there he was joined by a celebrating fanbase. ONeils is now a venue etched in folklore and Joe Rafferty's backside etched in the memories of those present! John Mousinho told how he stood in his garden after title win at 2am and could still hear Southsea rocking as the partying continued! | The News

8. Pine for the Sports Mail
Life just isn't the same for Pompey fans without the Sports Mail. Race to the newsagents at 6.30pm, pore over Mike Neasom's purple prose, dissect the results and tables on the back page and, if you were lucky, catch your name in the parks reports. Bliss. | The News
