That’s despite the ex-Wycombe man reportedly set to sign a pre-contract with Rangers ahead of a summer move.

Football Insider claims that a host of clubs including the Blues, Sheffield Wednesday, Watford, Wycombe, Rotherham, Lincoln and Charlton are all keen.

Oforborh scored two goals in 25 appearances when helping Wycombe to League One promtion via the play-offs during his season-long loan last campaign.

However, the 21-year-old has been surplus to requirements at Bournemouth this season, making only five appearances.

Oforborh is reportedly in advanced talks to join Rangers when his Cherries contract expires in June – along with team-mate Jack Simpson.

However, Football Insider reports Oforborh could head out on loan for the remainder of the season regardless to gain regular minutes under his belt.

Pompey currently have no berths remaining in their 22-man squad under salary cap rules.

However, because Oforborh was born after January 1, 1999 he wouldn’t count towards those regulations.
