'Very poor with little coming off... struggling badly for form' - Neil Allen's Portsmouth match ratings following Wigan defeat

Check out Neil Allen’s Pompey match ratings from Pompey’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Wigan.

It’s the first time the Blues have lost at home in the league since April 2019, bringing an end to their proud home record.

However, there can be few complaints, with Pompey struggling against a Wigan side unrecognisable from the team that finished mid-table in the Championship last season but ripped apart because of it’s financial crisis.

Substitute Ellis Harrison gave the home side hope with a strike on 89 minutes.

But the damage had already been done following goals from Lee Evans (39) and Tom James (59).
