Andy Awford was made permanent Pompey manager in May 2014, after a successful period in a caretaker capacity.
The former Fratton defender took over from Richie Barker on March 27 and won five out of his six games in charge to steer the Blues to League Two safety.
Awford couldn’t replicate that success the following campaign, however, and was sacked less than a year into the job with Pompey 14th in the table.
In total, he made 20 signings in the PO4 hot seat. We've taken a look at where they all are today...
1. Paul Jones
The keeper became Awford’s first signing as permanent manager, arriving from Crawley. Jones departed in 2016 to join Norwich before joining Exeter and Fleetwood. He spent the 2019-20 season as back-up keeper at Sheffield Wednesday Photo: Joe Pepler
2. Danny Hollands
The midfielder returned to Fratton Park following his loan spell from Charlton. He scored seven goals in 94 appearances before leaving for Crewe in 2016. Hollands is now at Eastleigh along with being an under-14s coach at Pompey. Photo: Joe Pepler
3. Craig Westcarr
The forward bagged seven goals in 34 games during his only season at PO4. He then joined Mansfield and is now plying his trade at non-league Grantham Town. Photo: Joe Pepler
4. Nigel Atangana
The Frenchman was plucked for near-neighbours Hawks. Atangana is still having a decent career, having been part of the Exeter side that was beaten by Northampton in the League Two play-off final last month. Photo: Joe Pepler
