The forward continues to await his debut following a summer arrival from Bromley on a free transfer.

The 25-year-old has caught the eye for the reserves, though, scoring in successive matches against Reading and Oxford United on Monday.

The first-team coach said: '˜Louis is a good footballer, you can see that from the reserve games he's played such as Oxford and Reading. They were good performances.

'˜He'll get his chance in the first team. He's good on the half turn, finds some good pockets and brings other people into play.

'˜His chance will come, he always gives 100 per cent, his attitude is brilliant.

'˜All he has to keep doing is keep his head down in training '“ and he's giving the manager a problem.'
