Yet Curtis, who has been in rampant form since completing a summer move to Fratton Park, continued his goal streak for his country.

On 81 minutes, the former Derry City ace cut in from the left before rifling a right-footed shot beyond the Kosovo keeper.

It was Curtis' sixth goal of the campaign, having netted five for Kenny Jackett's side to date.

The south London-born talent will again represent his country against Germany in Dublin on Tuesday.
