Donohue, 25, featured for 62 minutes in Pompey Reserves' 2-1 Premier League Cup qualifier defeat at Plymouth on Tuesday.
The former Chesterfield man captained the side at Home Park. He was handed a 62-minute run-out before being replaced by James Whiting.Â
The clash against the Royals will be the Blues' second behind-closed-doors friendly this term.
The likes of Luke McGee, Joe Mason and Louis Dennis '“ who still awaits his Blues debut '“ are also set to be involved.
