Ronan Curtis makes Republic of Ireland competitive debut in Denmark
The Pompey forward was introduced as a second-half substitute in Martin O'Neill's side's 0-0 draw against Denmark in the Nations League tonight.Â
Curtis replaced Robbie Brady in the 65th minute in Aarhus.Â

Hide AdThe Fratton favourite was forced into defensive duties for the majority, with Denmark putting Eire on the back foot.
However, Ireland '“Â and Curtis '“Â proved resolute and ensured the game ended goalless.
It was the former Derry City ace's second appearance for his country, after making his bow in their 0-0 friendly draw with neighbours Northern Ireland on Thursday.Â
O'Neill's men finished bottom of League B Group Four with two points.Â
Curtis will now return to Fratton Park and is available for the trip to Scunthorpe on Saturday.Â
