Shaw blimey! Hat-trick hero Allan sparkles for North End Cosmos in City of Portsmouth Sunday League

Allan Shaw struck a hat-trick as North End Cosmos went nap in the only City of Portsmouth Sunday League top flight game.

David Parker and Moulay Ousman were also on target as Cosmos defeated Wicor Mill 5-2 - a fifth loss in seven Division 1 games for the bottom-placed club.

Jae Rutherford and Bailey Steele replied for Wicor.

Purbrook were awarded a walkover after Jameson Arms couldn’t raise a side, and the top-of-the-table title showdown between AFC Southdowns and Milton Rovers was postponed.

Luke Musselwhite and Billy Smith both struck twice as AFC Portchester Reserves gained their first win in Division 2, writes PAUL OASTLER.

They won each half 3-1 with Ash Twells and Matty Doel also netting. Ben Vassallo and Scott Cooper replied.

It’s incredibly tight at the top with Freehouse, Seagull and AFC Leigh Park all locked together on 12 points - though the latter have a game in hand.

Freehouse jumped above Seagull on goal difference after trouncing them 4-1 with goals from Mauro Morais (2), Owen Oliver and Ian Forte.

A Tommy Smith hat-trick ensured Leigh Park kept pace with the leaders with a 7-2 victory against Friends Fighting Cancer. Brad Hayward (2) and Jake Wittcomb (2) were also on target for a Park side who only led 1-0 at the interval.

Honours were shared in the Division 3 double header between Shelford Rovers and Fleur De Lys.

Shelford won the opening encounter 1-0 but Fleur took the second 5-2 with goals from Tyler Giddings (2), Jack Hopwood, Lewis Kilford and Logan Vickers-Main. Liam Bush and Kyle Ward replied.
