Umotong leaves Pompey Ladies for Oxford

Striker Ini Umotong has left Pompey Ladies to join FA Women's Super League side Oxford United.

She joins full-back Jess Frampton in leaving Pompey to head to the FA WSL 2 outfit.

Umotong was called up to the Nigeria squad for the World Cup last summer.

But she didn’t make an appearance there.

Her prolific form helped fire the Blues to the FA Premier League southern division title in 2015.

She has continued to score regularly this season and now joins up with Oxford, who start their league campaign at home to Millwall on Thursday, March 24.
