It is an obvious contender for Pompey goal of the season but in today’s News and at portsmouth.co.uk we’ve provided a few other strikes from the current campaign to rival the skipper’s effort.

Among them is Gary Roberts’ fabulous finish against Bournemouth in the FA Cup – the culmination of 47 passes.

Plus Adam McGurk’s 30-yard effort against Oxford at the Kassam Stadium.
