The forward sustained a groin injury after two minutes of the reserves' Central League Cup defeat to AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday afternoon.

As a consequence, he is expected to spend around 10 days on the sidelines.

That will rule him out of Saturday's FA Cup trip to Maidenhead, followed by the visit of Spurs under-21s in the Checkatrade Trophy (Tuesday, November 13).

The Wolves loanee's return target is the Saturday, November 24, visit to Scunthorpe.

Kenny Jackett said: '˜Joe is out for a week to 10 days maybe, he will miss Saturday and Tuesday, but hopefully Scunthorpe will be okay.

'˜He has been consistently substitute without getting that break when the team has been settled, pretty successful and a lack of injuries so far.'
