The City of Portsmouth runner finished with a time of 17min 57sec as 285 people completed the nice 5k course.

Gill Lovell finished her 100th parkrun on Saturday and Bob Knott completed his 50th.

The event takes place at Lakeside North Harbour on Saturdays at 9am.

It is a nice course around the lake with good views and a mix of trail and path.

Jackie Lloyd was the first female finisher on Saturday with a time of 21.26.

The volunteer team welcomed 40 first timers, while 50 people managed to record new personal bests for the course.

Everyone was cheered and supported to the finish.

All parkruns are free to take part in. People just need to register and download a barcode to get it scanned at the finish for a time and position.

Meanwhile, Southsea parkrun held their 260th event with 412 finishers.

The volunteers ensured everyone was well supported and had a good morning 5k along the promenade.

David Martin, Gillian Ostler and Emma Longhurst-Gent all celebrated reaching the milestone of 50 parkruns.

At Lee-on-the-Solent parkrun Levi Colvin finished in first place with a time of 17.50.

Nikki Moxham was the first female finisher.

The Gosport Road Runners athlete completed her 98th parkrun and finished it with a time of 19.18.

Maria Millican got a good new personal best of 22.02.

Richard Noice enjoyed his 50th milestone parkrun.

He celebrated with a personal best of 23.13.

Laura Henry, Jay Robinson, Katherine Chowns, Martyn Poore, Steve Wood and Teresa Hayman all completed their 50th parkruns.

The event takes place at Marine Parade East, Lee-on-the-Solent, PO13 9LB.

Fareham parkrun had 210 finishers for the 131st event.

James Hughes finished in first position with Rebecca Seal the first female.

Melissa Barham, John Saunders and Angela Bennett all completed their 50th parkruns.

Alan Bullock finished his 100th parkrun and Miles Lucktaylor joined the junior club for 10 parkruns.
