Reavell rescues Fareham
Coach Steve Lemon felt the draw was deserved reward for his side.
They battled back well after Wimbledon had taken the lead.
He said: ‘A draw was probably a fair result.
‘Both teams were evenly matched, we passed the ball well in the first half but lacked a little punch going forward.

Wimbledon struck first when Vickey Nesbitt’s penalty corner shot eluded the Fareham defence and found the net on 17 minutes.
Fareham pushed hard for an equaliser with both Vicky Field and Reavell going close.
But they went into the break 1-0 down despite their good efforts to get on level terms.
The second half was an entertaining end-to-end battle.
Both sides went close to finding the net.

Hide AdWhile at the other end keeper Swati made an excellent double save to keep it at 1-0.
Fareham’s efforts to grab an equaliser were finally rewarded.
Reavell fired home to level the scores on 60 minutes.
Both sides pushed hard for the winner in the final 10 minutes but neither side were able to break the deadlock.
