Havant enjoyed a confidence-boosting 8-1 victory over bottom side Purley Walcountians in South League premier division one.
Maciej Janiszewski was man-of-the-match for his hat-trick.
Further goals were scored by Mike Deller-Merricks, with two, Laurie Bowden, James Speke and Ollie Nail.
Coach Ady Adams said: ‘It was better than what we have been doing so it gives us a bit of confidence ahead of next week’s game against Sevenoaks.
‘We haven’t been scoring a lot of goals in the last few weeks so it was good to get back on track.’
Purley’s star of the show was England under-18 goalkeeper Luke Appleton, who made a series of good saves to keep the scoreline down.
‘I thought their keeper was outstanding,’ said Adams.
