Havant Ladies lost 3-0 to Oxford Ladies in division two of the South Clubs’ Women’s League on Saturday.
It was a disappointing performance from the home side at Havant College.
They were well beaten in the match which was their penultimate league game before the Christmas break.
Both teams have been finding it tough in the league this season.
But it was Oxford who put in the better performance to take the win in this important contest.
Havant turned in a lacklustre display and conceded the first goal very early in the match.
They were 2-0 down at the break.
Oxford added a third in the second half to wrap up what was an emphatic away success for them.
Two of the three Oxfordgoals were penalty strokes.
Oxford are now ninth in the table with Havant 10th.
