Fareham Vixens lost by one goal to the ever improving Misfits 18-17.

Anna Wilton was on fire for Vixens and they had started to come back in the third quarter but just not quick enough.

Wildcats had a great game against Pumas, winning 29- 20.

Goal-shooter Donna Fall, for Wildcats, had a blinding game.

She was holding her space to receive the ball perfectly.

Megan Muff, in centre for Pumas, also had a strong game.

She read the game, giving more opportunities for her team.

The shooting partnership with Stacey Grant, goal-attack, and Stacey Dewan, goal-shooter, was on fire.

They knew exactly what the other was going to do.

They created space in the circle and won most rebounds if the ball didn’t convert to a goal.

Nyssa Jarman, centre for Blackjacks, read the game well and turned some great interceptions.

But unfortunately for her team it wasn’t enough to beat Avengers on the night.

Gosport Gators Black played the late game against Fareham Zodiacs when the rain really came down.

It was a close game at the time and looked set to be a real thriller.

But it was called to an end in the third quarter with the score on 18-14.

The more experienced team just pushed through at the end to get the victory.

However, neither team looked disappointed to leave the courts due to the bad weather.

It was a similar situation on court three with division leaders Martinis and Hotshots.

Martinis led throughout but Emily Forbes Hotshots kept pace with them, ending with a 17-13 score.

This game also saw Martinis secure their position at the top.
